Are you at the final stages of your law studies and looking for a traineeship to start in November 2020 or in February 2021? If so, spread your wings and apply for our Trainee programme!
Our Trainee programme in Finland consists of intensive 5–6 months during which you will work as a full-time Trainee. With our deep legal and industry-focused knowledge and inclusive culture, our Trainee programme offers you a great opportunity to try your ‘bird’ wings in practicing business law.
As a Trainee at Bird & Bird you will work for various practice groups assisting the firm’s lawyers in diverse and challenging assignments. Your duties will include similar work as our newly graduated lawyers do, for example, drafting legal documentation and collecting information regarding a wide variety of issues. We also aim to give you an opportunity to work more closely with one or two of our practice groups at the later stage of your traineeship. You will be supported by your Trainee colleagues and an assigned personal tutor throughout your traineeship.
For you to get the best out of your traineeship with us, we hope that you are at the point of finalising your law studies (with approximately 200 credits by the start of the Trainee programme), have eagerness to learn and genuine interest in business law. Due to the nature of Trainee assignments, we require fluency in both Finnish and English.
In this round, you can apply for traineeships starting in November 2020 and February 2021:
