Customer Service Specialist / Receptionist

The opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist / Receptionist to work as a parental leave substitute from June 2025 to August 2026.

What you'll do
The Customer Service Specialist is a first point contact for our customers visiting the Bird & Bird Helsinki office. In this role you will be part of our Business Services team and work alongside a colleague in our reception. With your work you can make a difference on our customer and employee experience as well as our office atmosphere. You will manage a variety of different administrative and hands-on tasks, for example:
- Welcoming and interacting with visitors
- Arranging meetings and events; managing catering services
- Managing calendar and incoming calls
- Ensuring the representativeness and tidiness of our reception and office
- Providing other daily support to our customers and staff as needed
- Maintaining and developing our office facilities
About you
Ideally, you have previous experience in high-quality customer service and in handling a wide range of administrative tasks. Experience in hotel reception or conference services, or reception and event services at a law firm or other respected organization, is valued. In addition, you would be a great fit for us if you have:
- passion for customer service
- a proactive approach and flexibility
- fluency both in Finnish and English
- good IT skills
- insight into event organization and catering
- desire to further develop and strengthen our customer service and employee experience

We offer you a full-time position with competitive employment benefits. Your monthly salary depends on your skills and experience. You will work closely with a colleague in the reception and collaborate with the entire Bird & Bird team. The work will start at latest in early June 2025.
